Vanda Devvullu Review: Did it become a Hit or Not?

Vijay Antony, Swasika, Ajay Dishan, Lijomol Jose, Karunas, Sakthi, Kavya Anil, and others acted in this movie. Sandeep composed the music, and Sasi directed the film.Produced by Sharvanth Ram Creations, Ramanujailu Javvaji Creations, and Vijay Antony Film Corporation, this film was released on June 19.
Vanda Devullu is the new film marking the reunion of the Bichagadu team—Vijay Antony, Sasi. We all know what a massive hit Bichagadu was. Now, a film has been made bearing that very title—*Vanda Devullu*.
As for the movie, actress Swasika plays the role of a widow named Vasavi, and she... [raises] her two children.
This film is about how she raised her children after losing her husband, and how she faced many challenges from society. However, since there was no support from her own family or even from her mother's side, she raised them all alone. Even though she wanted a life of her own, she sacrificed herself for her children and raised them. Ajay and his younger brother both developed their characters very well. So first of all, everything happens between the mother and the sons.
The film is about convincing his mother to get marry. We will see Vijay Antony in the second half. So after his appearance, it should be said that the film has become a little more highlighted. The story is ahead, and Vijay Antony is behind the story. Swasika acted very well in this story.
Although the story feels slow in places, it effectively captures the essence of a woman-centric film. It portrays the challenges a woman faces regarding marriage—such as societal fears when living alone and a lack of family support—quite well. The narrative unfolds around the dynamics between a mother and her sons.
The conversational scenes between the mother and son were portrayed very well.
The second half incorporates a touch of humour to keep the audience entertained. The story revolves around the outcome: did the sons succeed in getting their mother married? Ajay, playing the son, delivered a fantastic performance; he convincingly portrayed the earnest desire to see his mother remarried. Swasika also gave a natural and authentic performance as the mother. The entry of Vijay Antony adds a significant boost to the narrative.
