This film is directed by the talented director Venky Atluri. Presented by Srikara Studio, Sithara Entertainment and Fortune Four Cinemas, the film was jointly produced by Suryadevara Nagavamshi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sai Soujanya. The film is a touching family story with natural humour and tender emotions. It hit the theatres in the morning. The film has received a good response from the audience. Having grossed over ₹150 crore within just four days of its release, the film is racing towards a massive success. Against this backdrop, director Venky Atluri interacted with the media, expressing his happiness at the film's triumph and sharing several interesting details about the journey behind it.

Director Venky Atluri shared details about Suriya's reaction upon hearing the story. He mentioned that Suriya liked it immensely, noting that he had been looking for a family-oriented story just like this one. Since the script was already ready, Venky narrated it to him. Because Suriya appreciated the story so much, they decided to make the film with complete honesty, avoiding unnecessary comedy or forced commercial elements. Consequently, they paid great attention to the climax and handled the characterisation with particular care. It was stated that Suriya watched the film just a few days before its release and was very happy to see his own convictions reflected on screen.

I conceived this story back in 2022, though I hadn't originally written it with Suriya in mind; however, after he liked the script, I made some adjustments to suit his body language. Speaking further about the film, the initial idea was to write a story centred on a relationship involving an age gap—specifically exploring the compelling reasons why someone might remain unmarried even after turning forty—and the narrative was woven around that premise. Director Venky Atluri stated that, in his view, no one is inherently bad; rather, people behave in different ways due to the influence of circumstances, and this is the message conveyed in the movie.

Speaking about the hard work that went into the film, Venky Atluri mentioned that the house set stood out as a special attraction, Speaking on the occasion, Venky Atluri mentioned that he, the production designer, and the cinematographer sat down and discussed the house extensively; they wanted it to look fresh and novel while still exuding a sense of richness, and that is exactly how they filmed it.

Venky Atluri mentioned that Trivikram really liked the movie. Since Trivikram is a partner in the production of films under the Sithara Entertainments banner, he usually watches almost all of them. Venky Atluri noted that while Trivikram often suggests minor changes or adjustments after watching a film, in this instance, he offered no such feedback and simply praised the movie, saying it was very good.

Speaking about the editing process, Venky Atluri noted that any film improves at the editing table; he explained that if one shares the footage with the editor—without insisting that everything shot must be included in the final cut—the result is bound to be excellent, and this is precisely what happened with Vishwanath & Sons.

Speaking further about the film, Venky Atluri noted that the movie was shot with Suriya's market in Tamil Nadu in mind. He explained that compared to the Telugu states, Tamil Nadu has far fewer theatres and significant differences in ticket pricing, which resulted in lower box-office collections there. However, he pointed out that films enjoy a longer theatrical run there—citing the example of Karu—and expressed confidence that Viswanathan & Sons would achieve massive box-office numbers in Tamil Nadu due to this extended run.

Speaking about actress Mamta Baiju, Venky Atluri mentioned that after watching the movie Premalu, he felt she was the right fit for the role. He noted that she has a strong command of Tamil—and a good grasp of the language is essential for performing comedy—and that she fully did justice to the character.

Venky Atluri stated that he has formed a bond with the Sithara banner that goes beyond mere financial agreements; he expressed his desire to make more films with this banner, which gave him an opportunity and placed its trust in him.

He remarked that while there used to be a wide variety of films in the past, the number of family-oriented movies has declined in recent times; consequently, whenever a good family film is released now, audiences turn out in large numbers to watch it.
