Tribandhari Barbariq is a Rare, Content-Based Telugu Film – Kushendar Ramesh Reddy

Acclaimed cinematographer Kushendar Ramesh Reddy, known for Polimera and Razakar, now brings his visual expertise to Tribandhari Barbariq, releasing on August 29. Presented by director Maruthi and produced by Vijay Pal Reddy Adidela under the Vanara Celluloid banner, the film is directed by Mohan Srivatsa.

🔹 How it Started:

Reddy was introduced to the story during the final schedule of Razakar. Impressed by the concept, he shared visual references and ideas which were appreciated by the team, leading to the collaboration.

🔹 Biggest Challenges:

Filming night and rain sequences in summer was a major challenge. Creating monsoon effects during peak summer demanded significant effort and budget, which the producer supported without compromises.

🔹 Visual & Narrative Strength:

Each character in Tribandhari Barbariq has unique visual treatment with evolving color grading that reflects their transformation. Rain visuals are said to be on par with acclaimed films like Tumbbad and 2018. The biggest strength of the film, however, is its powerful script and unpredictable climax.

🔹 Working with Artists:

The film features a strong comeback role for Udaya Bhanu and showcases Vasishta in a new light. Reddy also shares his continued rapport with Sathyaraj, built since Baahubali days.

Reddy feels fulfilled as he was able to bring his visual imagination to life, thanks to the creative freedom and trust given by the director and producer. He believes the film proves that content-driven Telugu cinema is very much alive.
