The trailer of ‘Bakāsura Restaurant’, a unique horror-comedy entertainer, has been officially launched by acclaimed director Maruthi on Friday.
Starring popular comedian Praveen in the lead role, the film is helmed by debutant director SJ Shiva under the SJ Movies banner, produced by Lakshmaiah Achari and Janardhan Achari. The film also features Viva Harsha in the title role, along with Krishna Bhagavaan, KGF Garuda Ram, and Shining Phani in pivotal roles.
Speaking at the event, Praveen expressed gratitude to Maruthi, recalling how Prema Katha Chitram under his direction changed his career. Maruthi praised the film’s catchy title and expressed confidence that ‘Bakāsura Restaurant’ will mark a turning point in Praveen’s career.
Producer Janardhan Achari shared how director Shiva’s story immediately struck a chord with them and how the cast perfectly suited their roles. Director SJ Shiva emphasized that the film is a first-of-its-kind in Telugu cinema and introduces Praveen as a lead hero in a new avatar.
Actor Viva Harsha called it a “benchmark film” and highlighted the strong technical team and family-friendly appeal of the movie.
The film promises a never-before horror-comedy experience and is gearing up for release soon.
