The RajaSaab Review:

Raja Saab!

Some say the first half is good, while others say the second half is super. However, no one is confidently saying it's a hit. The old get-up role and reverse fight scenes of Prabhas in the first trailer, and the Joker scenes in the 2.0 trailer, are what brought the buzz to this Raja Saab movie. But the twist is that the main supporting scenes related to those two get-ups are not in this movie. I suspect they were removed during editing. However, some are saying they will be added for Sankranthi. But with the current competition among movies, the general audience won't go to see Raja Saab again. Moreover, the movie is already long. If more scenes are added, the film will become even longer. Another minus point in this movie is that the villain's character did not create a strong impact. Also, the new concept of hypnotism and ghosts, while new to the Telugu screen, confuses the audience instead of thrilling them. Are there any positives? In the first half, the vintage style of Bhimavaram Prabhas's entertainment, the comedy scenes between Sapthagiri and Prabhas in the second half, and the glamour of the three heroines in every frame can be considered highlights. As for comedian Satya, they put him in a unique get-up, which made him miss out on delivering his usual brand of humour. VTV Ganesh was also not fully utilised. As Thaman has been saying all along, the climax, interval, and intro in this film are next level. But here, intro doesn't mean Prabhas's introduction; please underline this. The grandmother and grandson's acting is superb. The emotions also worked well in some places. However, this is not enough for family audiences. Moreover, this is not the kind of film that should be released during a festival. Finally, if Game Changer remained a nightmare for Mega fans last Sankranthi, Raja Saab seems poised to leave Prabhas fans with a similar nightmare this Sankranthi.
