TFDC Chairman Dil Raju expresses condolences and assures support to Revathi's family
Dil Raju, the Chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation (TFDC) and renowned producer, expressed his condolences to the family of Revathi, who tragically lost her life in the stampede at Sandhya Theatre. He assured that the family would receive full support in every way possible. Dil Raju also visited Sritej, who was severely injured in the incident and is undergoing treatment at KIMS Hospital.
Speaking to the media during this visit, Dil Raju stated, "It is heartbreaking that such incidents happen. Due to my stay in the United States, I couldn’t be here earlier to address the situation. However, as soon as I returned, I met with the Chief Minister. I will also meet Allu Arjun soon. I am currently reviewing the ongoing situation. I will engage with the film industry and government officials to find solutions to these issues. I assure the bereaved family that we will stand by them in every possible way." He also mentioned that they are ready to provide employment to Revathi’s husband, Bhaskar.
Regarding the Sandhya Theatre incident, Dil Raju clarified, "No one intended for this to happen. It was an unfortunate accident. The claim that the government is distancing itself from the film industry is completely false. The Chief Minister has been supportive of the industry in every way. Soon, we will meet with the Chief Minister along with representatives from the film industry. It is my responsibility to ensure such incidents do not occur again."
