Subham, released on May 9, 2025, marks actress Samantha’s debut as a producer under the direction of Cinema Bandi fame Praveen Kandregula.

Set in early 2000s Bheemili, this horror-comedy follows a cable operator, Srinivas (Harshith Reddy), who notices strange behaviour in his wife Srivalli (Shriya Kontham) and other women every night at 9 PM. What begins as mystery soon unravels a hidden village secret.
The film’s fresh concept revolving around TV serials and village life adds charm, especially resonating with female viewers. Harshith and Shriya deliver a natural on-screen chemistry, while supporting actors like Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shravani Lakshmi, and Shalini Kondepudi elevate the film with comic timing and emotional moments.
Despite a few pacing issues and an underwhelming cameo by Samantha, Subham offers a mix of humor, mild horror, and family-friendly storytelling. Technically sound with good cinematography and music, it makes for a pleasant weekend watch.
