"SAPPHIRE SUITE to Be a Landmark Project in Chitrapuri Colony – Completion in 40 Months": Anil Kumar Vallabhaneni

Chitrapuri Colony, a flagship housing project for Telugu film industry members, announced the launch of its new residential initiative, SAPPHIRE SUITE, in a formal event attended by key industry leaders and union representatives. The project brochure was unveiled by Anil Kumar Vallabhaneni, President of Chitrapuri Colony, who confirmed that the project will be completed within 40 months from its groundbreaking.
Mr. Vallabhaneni highlighted the project's history dating back to 1994, noting challenges such as policy changes and leadership transitions. He acknowledged Film Chamber President Bharath Bhushan for facilitating crucial approvals. Despite financial hurdles—Rs. 166 crores in debt and Rs. 50 crores in pending work—the team remains committed to providing housing to every eligible film worker.
Due to regulatory constraints, the land for the project has been reduced from 4.5 acres to 2 acres. However, priority will be given to waitlisted members, and new applications will be screened via certification from respective associations.
Several film industry veterans including C. Kalyan, Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao, Damodar Prasad, Veera Shankar, Prasanna Kumar, and Madala Ravi lauded the project for continuing the vision of Chitrapuri Colony and supporting thousands of workers. They emphasized transparency, unity, and strict action against fraudulent memberships.
The gathering was attended by numerous prominent industry figures, all voicing their support for SAPPHIRE SUITE, which is set to become a cornerstone of the Telugu film fraternity's housing mission.
