Press Note: ‘Solo Boy’ Set for Release on July 4th

‘Solo Boy’, a youthful drama starring Bigg Boss fame Gautam Krishna, is all set to hit the screens on July 4th. Directed by Naveen Kumar and produced by Seven Hills Satish under the Seven Hills Productions banner, the film features Ramya Pasupuleti and Swetha Avasthi as the female leads.

Speaking about the project, producer Satish shared insights into the making, vision, and team effort behind the film.

“The story, which focuses on the struggles of a middle-class boy from the age of 17 trying to stand on his own, deeply resonated with me,” Satish said.

The film has been completed within a carefully planned budget, with the cast and crew, mostly young talent, working on modest pay. Satish emphasized that once the film succeeds, profits will be shared with the team.

Having gained experience through past ventures, including a biopic on Battala Ramakrishna, Satish said this project was handled with greater care, learning from previous lessons. The movie runs for 2 hours 10 minutes and has received a U/A certificate. It is expected to release across 120–150 screens in Andhra and Telangana.

Gautam Krishna, known for his appearances in two Bigg Boss seasons, is actively promoting the film, and his popularity is seen as a major advantage.

“We wrapped up most of the shoot before Gautam entered Bigg Boss. After his return, we refined a few scenes further,” Satish added.

Satish, who started as an assistant director, took a break to pursue business and returned to the film industry as a producer. He revealed that he’s close with industry names like Venky Atluri, Sagar Chandra, Sampath Nandi, and Balagam Venu.

The trailer was uniquely launched by the family of Martyr Jawan Murali Naik, honoring his sacrifice. As a gesture, the team donated ₹1 lakh to the family.

“Cinema needs more than just interest – it needs passion. ‘Solo Boy’ is a relatable story that connects with every young person striving to make it on their own,” Satish concluded.

He also hinted at his next project – a thriller with actor Narne Nithin, currently in development.
