Produced by and starring Vadde Naveen under the Vadde Creations banner—with Vadde Jishnu presenting—the film features Rashi Singh as the female lead opposite Naveen. The movie is set to release on June 19th. Ahead of the release, actress Rashi Singh interacted with the media, and the highlights of her conversation are shared here.
Speaking about the role, she mentioned that her character is like the girl next door and comes across as very natural; she shot without makeup to maintain that authentic look. She added that it is not a typical "mother" role but rather a story about a family.
Rashi Singh mentioned that after learning that Vadde Naveen was the hero of the film Transfer Trimurtulu, she researched the actor and discovered details about the many films he had starred in; he added with a smile that she was the very first person to ask Naveen why there had been such a long gap in his career.
Speaking about her role in the movie, Rashi Singh mentioned that she plays Lakshmi, a wonderful homemaker who supports her husband in every aspect. She noted that while she is completely different in real life, she finds great joy in portraying the character of Lakshmi. She explained that the character is always prepared for situations like job transfers and, despite occasionally feeling frustrated by certain matters, remains a constant source of support for her husband, making this a unique role in her career.
Speaking about director Kamal, she mentioned that he persists in his efforts until he gets exactly what he wants; he ensured she performed exactly as he envisioned, insisting on precision and accepting no deviations. She shared that Vadde Naveen was surprised when she told him about the operations of her restaurant, Cafe'. She explained that she started the business because of her love for food and coffee, and noted that she also seeks advice from her brother, who has a background in hotel management.
Rashi says she enjoys both films and business, noting that there is still much to be done and that her achievements so far are just the beginning. She started modelling at the age of 14; hailing from Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, she secured second place in the Miss Chhattisgarh pageant. Her family knows about it after seeing her photo in the newspaper. She wasn't particularly interested in academics, so she gradually embarked on a career as an air hostess, and now she is involved in films and business.
