Actor Manchu Manoj shared his excitement about his upcoming film Bhairavam, calling his role as Gajapathi Varma the most intense and unique character he’s played so far. Speaking ahead of his birthday on May 20, Manoj described the film as a turning point, saying, “This birthday marks a rebirth for me. Bhairavam will always hold a special place in my career.”

Directed by Vijay Kanakamedala, Bhairavam stars Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, Nara Rohith, and Manchu Manoj in powerful roles. The film, backed by K.K. Radhamohan under Sri Sathya Sai Arts and presented by Dr. Jayantilal Gada (PEN Studios), is set for a grand summer release on May 30.

Manoj expressed gratitude for the camaraderie shared with co-stars Sai and Rohith during the shoot. “Despite personal struggles, we moved at jet speed. Rohith’s professionalism during a tough time in his life was truly inspiring,” he said.

Talking about his comeback, Manoj reflected on the emotional moment at the trailer launch: “After nine years away from films, stepping back into the spotlight was deeply emotional.”

He praised director Vijay for crafting strong roles and giving equal space to each actor. “He understood the audience pulse and brought a strong commercial vision. He even designed my look himself,” Manoj revealed.

Music by Sri Charan Pakala has received a great response. A special track releasing on May 20 is expected to further boost the hype.

Manoj also shared a personal resolution: “From this birthday, I’m starting afresh. I missed a crucial phase, but God has given me another chance. I’m planning to take up more projects actively.”

The film features a grand temple set by production designer Brahma Kadali, which plays a vital role in the story.

Manoj expressed admiration for producer Radhamohan, calling him a rare, passionate filmmaker who stood by the story without compromise.

Looking ahead, he hinted at experimenting with more diverse genres and even a children’s film in the future.
