"Kothapalli Lo Okappudu" Set for July 18 Release: Manoj Chandra Promises a Rural Comedy Delight

Actress and acclaimed filmmaker Praveena Paruchuri, known for her work on C/O Kancharapalem and Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya, is back in the director’s seat with her latest film, "Kothapalli Lo Okappudu", a rural comedy produced under Rana Daggubati's Spirit Media. The film stars Manoj Chandra and Mounika in the lead roles and is set for release on July 18.

At a recent press conference, hero Manoj Chandra shared his excitement and insights about the film. He revealed, “I play the role of Ramakrishna, a simple man who works for Appanna. I act as a middleman, delivering desi goods and maintaining ties with the locals. Ramakrishna also runs a small recording dance studio and is in love with a girl named Savitri. One day, he heads to a grassy field to meet her—and what unfolds there forms the core of the story.”

He praised director Praveena Paruchuri for her dedication: “She led the film with utmost professionalism, never compromising despite the challenges. The film has turned out visually stunning, and I’m confident the audience will love it.”

Speaking about his career, Manoj added, “I’ve waited many years for an opportunity like this. I truly believe this is the moment I’ve been preparing for.”
