Actor-producer Vishnu Manchu’s dream project ‘Kannappa’ is set to release worldwide on June 27, under AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, produced by Dr. M. Mohan Babu and directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh. With massive buzz created through its teaser and trailer, Vishnu and team interacted with the media ahead of the release.

Vishnu Manchu said, “Over one lakh tickets have already been sold. This overwhelming response feels like a blessing from Lord Shiva. Many initially doubted the film, but now the positivity around ‘Kannappa’ is undeniable. I’ve kept ticket prices affordable for families and kids to enjoy this film together. ‘Kannappa’ isn’t fiction—it’s our history. The film delivers a message that devotion doesn’t require intermediaries or blind faith—only pure intent.”

He further added that the film won't stream on OTT for at least 10 weeks post-release and thanked his father Mohan Babu, along with his brothers Vijay and Vinay, for their support. His four children also acted in the film, and he expressed joy seeing them on screen.
