Grand Pre-Release Event of Vishnu Manchu’s Dream Project ‘Kannappa’ Held in Hyderabad

The much-anticipated mythological epic ‘Kannappa’ is all set for a Pan-India theatrical release on June 27. Produced by Dr. M. Mohan Babu under AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, and helmed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the film has generated huge buzz with its gripping teaser, trailer, and soulful music.
At the grand pre-release event in Hyderabad, the team shared heartfelt insights into the film’s journey:
Dr. M. Mohan Babu expressed gratitude, calling the film a divine offering guided by Lord Shiva’s blessings. He praised the cast, crew, and director Mukesh Kumar Singh, highlighting that every character in ‘Kannappa’ is heroic in their own right.
Vishnu Manchu, calling this his life’s most meaningful film, thanked his team and friends. He described Prabhas as his “Krishna”, pledging lifelong friendship and loyalty like Karna. He lauded Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, Sarath Kumar, and Shiva Rajkumar for their support and contributions. “This isn’t just my film—it belongs to Kannappa,” he stated emotionally.
Director Mukesh Kumar Singh praised Vishnu’s dedication and said every character, including Prabhas, plays a crucial role—no cameos. He described the film as a spiritual journey rooted in cultural depth.
The event saw emotional and powerful speeches from key team members:
Brahmanandam: This is not a commercial film; it carries Lord Shiva’s philosophy.
Sarath Kumar: Feels like Lord Shiva himself ordained this project.
Stephen Devassy, Prabhu Deva, and editor Antony were hailed as creative pillars.
Lyricists, writers, and actors such as Akella Shiva Prasad, Sudhalla Ashok Teja, BVS Ravi, and Arpit Rankahighlighted the film's emotional intensity, particularly Vishnu’s impactful climax performance.
Former MP Mediyam Baburao appreciated the tribal representation and spiritual message.
The team collectively emphasized the film’s core message—faith, devotion, and equality—and urged audiences to witness this divine cinematic experience on June 27.
