Nara Rohith, who is known for choosing distinctive scripts, is all set to break new ground with Bhairavam, calling it his most commercial and mass-oriented film yet. He says the film offers a universal subject with fresh cinematic experiencefor audiences across regions.

Starring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, Manchu Manoj, and Nara Rohith, Bhairavam is riding high on strong buzz, with teaser, songs, and promotional material receiving a highly positive response. Directed by Vijay Kanakamedala and produced by K.K. Radhamohan under Sri Sathya Sai Arts, the film is presented by Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios. It's gearing up for a grand summer release on May 30.

Key Highlights from Nara Rohith’s Media Interaction:

  • Script Selection: "Producer Bellamkonda Suresh pitched the idea. I trusted his judgment. It's originally a rustic Tamil village drama but was adapted to suit Telugu nativity. It feels like an original even if you've seen the source."

  • Onscreen Chemistry: "We've known each other for years—there's natural comfort. Director Vijay gave us clarity and freedom. Every character, including mine, carries emotional depth."

  • Career Plans: "I planned a short break, but it extended. Now I'm back—Sundarakanda is almost ready for a July release, and my next begins in August."

  • Working with Manoj & Sai Sreenivas: "Manoj and I bonded closely during this film. Sai’s been a friend since 2010. This film brought us all even closer."

  • About Jayasudha’s Role: "She plays a strong grandmother figure. It was a joy to work with such a legendary actress."

  • Action Experience: "Though I’ve done action films, this level of commercial mass action is new for me. The interval sequence with all three of us will be a major highlight."

  • Adaptations for Telugu: "We retained the storyline but rewrote every scene for regional flavor. Telugu audiences will connect deeply."

  • Women Characters: "Every role, including the heroines, is vital to the plot. No character is sidelined."

  • On Music: "Sricharan Pakala's BGM is a major asset. He proved himself with the songs too."

  • Producer Radhamohan: "Handling a multi-hero film without compromise deserves applause. I hope he sees massive success."

  • Director Vijay: "Vijay has a clear cinematic vision. He knows the edit pattern while filming itself. This project will establish him as a top commercial director."

  • On Producing More Films: "I'm co-producing Sundarakanda. If good stories come my way, I’ll surely produce more."

  • Sequel to ‘Appatlo Okadundevadu’?: "There were discussions, but nothing materialized. Let’s see what the future holds."

  • Genre Preference: "I enjoy all genres except horror. I don’t like paying to get scared." (laughs)

  • Favorite Films: Solo, Rowdy Fellow, Baanam, Jo Achyutananda, and Appatlo Okadundevadu.

  • On Watching Bhairavam: "Haven’t seen it yet—waiting to watch it with the audience on May 30."
