Actor Vijay Deverakonda to Be Grand Marshal at 43rd India Day Parade in New York

Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda has been honored with the role of Grand Marshal at the 43rd World’s Largest India Day Parade, organized by the Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) in New York. The parade will take place on August 17 at 12 PM on Madison Avenue, with over 600,000 people expected to attend.

The event will begin with tributes to victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack and the Ahmedabad plane crash. Vijay expressed his happiness, calling it a great honor to represent India and celebrate Independence Day with the Indian and Telugu diaspora in the U.S. This year’s parade theme is “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah”. The India Day Parade has been held annually since 1981.
