"A Masterpiece" is an upcoming Telugu film that blends the essence of the Treta Yuga, Dwapara Yuga, and Kaliyuga into one unique mythological-superhero narrative.

Director Purvaj draws inspiration from Indian Puranas, particularly a story involving Sumantra, one of King Dasaratha’s ministers, who receives a divine boon during Lord Rama’s exile.
The film imagines a “Superman” of the Ramayana — Hanuman — and reimagines mythological elements in a modern superhero setting. The title “A Masterpiece” has a hidden meaning, with “A” possibly referring to a key character whose name begins with the letter, though the director keeps the identity secret.
The movie also weaves in elements of Lord Shiva, making it spiritually rich and visually ambitious. The makers aim for a Mahashivaratri release.
Actor Aravind Krishna, lead actress Jyothi Purvaj, and producer Manish Gilada shared insights during a press meet, revealing production delays due to injuries and challenges. Despite this, the film is nearing completion, with post-production set to use advanced, even Hollywood-unseen, technology.
Inspired by films like Minnal Murali, the makers aim to set a new benchmark in Telugu superhero mythology cinema.
