Tovino Thomas' latest film, "Identity," has emerged as Mollywood's first hit of 2025. Following a sensational 2024, Malayalam cinema has kicked off the new year with a bang.

The thriller, directed by Akhil Paul and Anas Khan, has grossed ₹40.23 crores worldwide in just two weeks. With its Tamil version also performing well, trade analysts predict the film will soon join the ₹50 crore club.

"Identity" stars Tovino Thomas, Trisha Krishnan, and Vinay Rai, and has been distributed by Gokulam Movies through Dream Big Films. The film's success is expected to continue with its upcoming release in Telugu and Hindi.
